The William B. Bankhead National Forest is one of Alabama’s four National Forests, covering 181,230 acres. Visitors staying downtown will be just 5 miles from the edge of the forest. Hunters will have the opportunity to engage in big game hunting, with the chance to track down deer, turkey, and potentially even wild boar. Join us for your next hunt.
